Business Development Job Description: 2-4 Years

Looking for a self-driven, passionate, and result-driven individual to join the Business Development team at Utthunga.

Roles & Responsibilities:

You are an integral part of the sales team involved actively in various stages of sales cycle including Lead Generation, Cold Calling, Objection Handling, Presenting Values to the prospective customers for a strong Sales pipeline/Funnel creation.
Your primary focus is to bring new business from North American geography, thus flexible to work in Night Shift.
You will work alongside with Senior Sales Leaders to generate Quality Leads per the identified target markets which will turn into Potential Business.
You need to build a strong outreach plan to achieve the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly targets.
Use email, social networking platforms and outbound calls as the mechanism to initiate leads and take it to the next level.
You should have a consultative sales approach, with the ability to do the proper service mapping to accelerate your success.
You must be confident in presenting company overview, USPs in few minutes over phone calls to solicit interest of Senior Business Stakeholders (especially C & D level Executives).
You must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills to succeed in this role.

Desired Candidate Profile: Your Daily Activities Include,

Identify prospects and qualify leads; match the appropriate product and service solutions to meet customer needs.
Leverage tools such as CRM for prospect management
Keen eye to identify the potential customers and weed-out not relevant leads
Contact Potential Customers through Outbound Cold Calls and Email Campaigns
Identify appropriate sales pitch and set up meetings with potential customers
Keeps oneself aligned to ongoing marketing, Tradeshows, Roadshows campaigns and participates with feedback/critique
Work with peers to solve problems with minimum noise.

Required Skills:
Engineering Degree (B.Tech – CS/EC/EE), MBA / Prior experience in Industrial Automation/Embedded and IoT Sales and Solutions Sales (preferred)
Number and results driven, should have an aptitude for sales which would be useful for product engineering service business.
Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision.
Most importantly the right attitude and committed to organizations’ goals
Demonstrates technical comprehension of Utthunga offerings
Ability to understand the target market segments and clarity on the positioning/messaging (and on-going learning process)
Good at spoken/written English and skilled at crafting good email replies to prospects
